How to connect to Robinhood Chain, fund your wallet with native ETH, and prepare to use Sight.

Sight operates on Robinhood Chain.

To place predictions, pay gas fees, receive payouts, and claim funds, your wallet must be connected to Robinhood Chain and funded with native ETH on the network.

ETH held on Ethereum Mainnet or another blockchain does not automatically appear as your available Sight balance.

Which network does Sight use?

Sight uses Robinhood Chain for its onchain prediction markets.

Your wallet must be connected to Robinhood Chain when interacting with Sight.

The network is used for:

  • Placing prediction positions
  • Paying gas fees
  • Market settlement interactions
  • Claiming winnings
  • Claiming eligible refunds
  • Other onchain Sight transactions

Which asset do I need?

Sight uses native ETH on Robinhood Chain.

You need native ETH both to take positions and to pay transaction fees.

Always keep a small amount of ETH available for gas in addition to the amount you intend to use in prediction markets.

Ethereum Mainnet ETH vs Robinhood Chain ETH

ETH on Ethereum Mainnet and ETH on Robinhood Chain exist on separate networks.

If you hold ETH on Ethereum Mainnet, it will not automatically appear as your available balance on Sight.

To use those funds on Sight, you must transfer or bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain.

Always verify the destination network before confirming a bridge or transfer.

How to fund your wallet

Before using Sight:

  1. Connect the wallet you intend to use with Sight
  2. Make sure Robinhood Chain is added and selected in your wallet
  3. Transfer or bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain
  4. Wait for the transaction to be confirmed
  5. Check that your native ETH balance appears on Robinhood Chain
  6. Return to Sight and confirm that your balance is available

Once your wallet is funded, you can use the ETH to enter prediction markets.

Bridging ETH

A bridge allows assets to move between supported blockchain networks.

If your ETH is currently on Ethereum Mainnet or another supported chain, use a compatible bridge that supports transfers to Robinhood Chain.

Before confirming a bridge transaction, verify:

  • The source network
  • The destination network
  • The asset being bridged
  • The destination wallet address
  • Bridge fees
  • Estimated amount received

Only use trusted and verified bridge interfaces.

Depositing from an exchange

If a centralized exchange supports direct withdrawals to Robinhood Chain, you may be able to send ETH directly to your wallet on the network.

Before withdrawing:

  • Confirm that the exchange supports Robinhood Chain
  • Select the correct withdrawal network
  • Verify your wallet address
  • Consider sending a small test transaction first

Do not select Ethereum Mainnet or another network unless you specifically intend to receive the funds there.

Sight cannot recover funds sent through an incorrect network.

Adding Robinhood Chain to your wallet

Some wallets may detect Robinhood Chain automatically when you connect to Sight.

If your wallet requires manual network configuration, use the official Robinhood Chain network information from a verified source.

Do not add network settings copied from unverified websites, social media replies, or direct messages.

Switching networks

Sight may prompt your wallet to switch to Robinhood Chain when an onchain action requires it.

Before signing any transaction, confirm that your wallet displays the correct network.

Transactions performed on another blockchain are not considered Sight transactions and may not be recognized by the platform.

Balance shows zero

If your Sight balance shows zero even though you own ETH, check the following:

  • Your wallet is connected to Robinhood Chain
  • The ETH is actually held on Robinhood Chain
  • You connected the correct wallet address
  • Your bridge or transfer transaction has been confirmed
  • Your wallet or RPC connection is functioning correctly

ETH held on Ethereum Mainnet or another blockchain will not appear as native Robinhood Chain ETH.

Keep ETH for gas

Every onchain transaction requires gas.

Do not use your entire wallet balance for a prediction.

Keep enough native ETH available to cover future transactions such as:

  • Entering another market
  • Claiming winnings
  • Claiming refunds
  • Other protocol interactions

Gas fees may vary depending on network conditions.

Bridging back

If you want to move assets from Robinhood Chain to another supported network, you may need to use a compatible bridge.

Bridge withdrawal times, fees, and settlement processes may vary depending on the bridge and destination network.

Always review the bridge details before confirming the transaction.

Network and bridge risk

Robinhood Chain, bridges, wallets, RPC providers, and other infrastructure may experience delays, outages, congestion, or technical issues.

These issues may temporarily affect your ability to:

  • View your balance
  • Transfer funds
  • Place predictions
  • Complete transactions
  • Claim winnings or refunds

Bridge or network issues do not necessarily extend Sight market or claim deadlines.

Security

When transferring or bridging funds:

  • Use only official or verified links
  • Never share your seed phrase or private key
  • Verify the network before every transaction
  • Verify the destination address
  • Review wallet prompts before signing
  • Be cautious of fake bridge websites and phishing links

Sight support will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.

Important

Sight is non-custodial.

You remain responsible for your wallet, network selection, transfers, bridge transactions, and transaction approvals.

Sight cannot reverse blockchain transactions or recover funds sent to an incorrect address or network.
